    Sharp MX-3110N A6-00 Trouble after Firmware updgrade

    Hello, We have a MX-3110N that the SD card failed on causing a complete DEAD machine. We purchased the new SD card from sharp and replaced it, and had to flash the new firmware for this machine which has a security kit (MX-FR30U). All runs ok and everything is just fine except when we plug the Tray Desk in (MX-DE13) we get a A6-00 Error code All trays But tray three work, if you check the the 22-10 it displays that it has a (MX-DE12) instead how can we tell the machine what it has? we have looked in the manual and installation manual and it appears it is a plug and play kind of option. any help would be appreciated Thanks.

      Are you sure it's an A6-00 error and not an U6-00? Check your connector for the desk unit, it is a plug and play.

          Yeah, it may be a U6-00 Apologizes, But yes we have tested all the connections. Tray 2 on the desk works when plugged in, it's just tray 3 that isn't but as I said above it thinks it's a MX-DE12 which has 1 extra tray when it's really a MX-DE13 with 2 extra trays?

              I would start with a re-flash of firmware with the desk unit installed - you may want to download the .sfu again, it might have been corrupted.
              If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the desk unit control pwb and next would be the PCU pwb.
              Let us know the outcome.
