I have a IM 3510 used with no scanner and I want to reset the laser code from the small interface . I just need it for printing only. Thanks, David

If you're getting a laser code, you might be able to reset it, but it will need to be replaced soon.
I have instructions to clear code for the Sharp printer, not sure if it will work on the IM machine.

same machine, I just never had to do it through the small panel on the machine itself

To access Diag mode:
press and hold the Menu and OK key while powering up;
display should read - PCU DIAG MODE;
press the Menu key about 17 times (depending on frimwar level), display should read Trouble Cancel;
press the OK key, display should read Trouble Cancel E_Trouble No;
press the Arrow key until display reads Trouble Cancel E_Trouble Yes;
press the OK key, Data light should blink while cancelling trouble;
power off/on - trouble code should be cleared except for a hard failure, again the LSU is not going to last long.

all codes can reset by off-on operation. Except error code that start with H?-0? or U?-0?
