    Check DV unit

    Hi all,need help.
    I have been doing new setup for sharp mx2010u for quite some time.
    And this time around,for the new setup,when wanted to execute the C,M,Y,K the copier show "check the DV unit" and i take out the dv and insert again it still show check the dv unit.May i know what cause to this problem?Hope some one will shed some light to this problem.

      Check for dv connector and machine body connector

          Last week we had a 2640 new from the box with 3640 developer units installed.
          It gave the exact same message as you describe.
          Grab a DV unit from another 2010 to test this. My machine would run 25-1 but NOT 25-2.

                  Like you say ,try with mx1810U DV unit,it confirm ok.
                  All the 4 colour 2010U DV unit show "Check the DV unit"
                  For DV it there any chip for replace?Because what i found out, i only replace the mx1810U DV connector unit to mx2010 DV unit ,i seen ok.
                  The HQ only wanted to send developer only to replace and not the whole unit DV.

                      Sensors, rails, and mag rolls are usually different on Sharp DV units.
                      Pull out the parts guide and look for the "matrix" tables. They will list different components for all models and markets.
                      I would insist on whole DV units though....

                          Sorry for the late reply .
                          HQ replace with 4 new DV unit and it still show check DV unit and this time is only Black DV problem.
                          At last machine send back to HQ and replace with the another unit of machine and solve the problem.
