    Colors not lining up across prints evenly on MX-4101N

    I'm working on an MX-4101N at a customer site. On 11"x17" documents, the colors on one side line up fine but get progressively worse as they move to the opposite side. I've run SIM 50-22 and adjusted the skew with the screws under the drum assemblies. This does not correct the problem. Does anyone have another suggestion?

    The colors are off by about 1-2 mm at their worst.

      Start with SIM 61-4 to adjust the K laser.
      It all starts with K.

          What Mojo said - barring that, check the primary transfer belt drive gear. If it cracks or breaks it will give these exact symptoms.
