Just curious. I had to replace the developer at only 46,000 copies. (Factory spec says 75K.) What is the experience of others? Thanks!

Re: MX-M352N Developer life 46k??
I do not service any Mx-352N but the newer machine take into consideration rotations. So if they run run alot of single copies or 2 copies at a time this can happen. Seen it on other models pretty often. -
Re: MX-M352N Developer life 46k??
3. Developer/Drum life end definition
• When the developer/drum counter reaches the specified level.
• When the developer/drum rpm reaches the specified level.
When either of the above reached the specified level, it is judged as life end.
In an actual case, when correction or warm-up operation is performed as well as output operation, the developer and the drum rotates.
Therefore, the developer/drum consuming level cannot be determined only by the copy/print quantity. When, therefore, the rpm reaches the
specified level, it is judged as life end.
To check the drum and developer life, use TC 22-1/TC22-13"You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" --Comment

Re: MX-M352N Developer life 46k??
OK, customer just called back. Anything I should look for? Apparently, the machine ran fine for a few days. Seems to be in an undertone situation. Yes, I did the developer adjustment when I changed it. Thanks in advance guys.Comment

Lastly, it doesn't say to remove toner when calibrating after a dv change in the SM, but it does (indirectly) in the installation manual."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" --Comment
