ARF-15 stapling issues

Hi all,

I went to this finisher the other day for randomly stapling in the middle, i took out the stapler assy (inc the frame it slides on and re-tightened the white guide affixed to the sliding unit which solved the problem. Now i have a problem where if stapling more than 5 sheets, some of the sheets get pulled back into the stapler askew, this causes the stapler to miss the back sheets as they are not compiled properly.

It may have been caused by taking the staple slider ass'y out but i cannot see anything.

Any ideas??

Most of the times that I have seen this the problem is the switch actuators get "paper cuts" in them. The side alignment guides get them also.I normally remove the entire swing unit and replace all actuators. Also make sure you didn't knock the gray belt holders off in the swing unit.

The center actuator got replaced a couple of months back. I will remove and refit the staple assy and check guides.
