    Simm 86-1 on ARM450u

    new number not replacing present number. Is there another thing I should be doing? Thanks in advance for any help.

    u need to send the eeprom to sharp company, ask them to program for you the actual serial no.

      Once you attempt to change the serial number you're screwed it will "NEVER" go back to the original you'll just get a new different serial number everytime you attempt it. Just go with the new serial number it will work just fine for new product keys, although this machine series is 11 or 12 years old and has been out of production for 9 years. Might want to consider replacing.

        We were going to change number to number that matches our file, but since it only matters to us. We gonna change the number in our file to match the machine. thanks from Kauai!
