MX-B402 -Error - CPFL: ROM unusual

Before I started getting this message, I replaced the fuser and flashed firmware. After receiving message, I have tried new ROMs, flash firmware and a new control panel. Still an issue. I do not have the old firmware to try.

This sounds like an issue I had with a B402 that came into the shop missing the HDD. I don't recall if this message occurred before replacing the HDD or after. Flashing the firmware then resolved the issue.

Is this a B402SC or straight B402 which will take different firmware? I've seen the "ROM unusual" message when activating the DSK; could it have that option, and you tried the wrong version firmware?

Old control panel needed the old firmware. Got old firmware and is now working.
