    MX4112 E7-95 Error Printer DIMM

    Hi All

Currently experiencing an issue with a MX4112 which is displaying a E7-95 Printer DIMM error.

Printer DIMM has been replaced along with the MFPC PWB and fault is still showing.

Anyone came across this fault and can possibly shine a light and point in the right direction?

The device uses Equitrac and DSK.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Paul but I'm in receipt off manuals and access to Sharp technical pages.

Had the same problem with a MX-2610N, turned out to be EEPROMS. Had to send them to Sharp along with a new set for reprogramming

I remember a bulletin regarding DSK and Equitrac but cannot find it on the site. DSK firmware version 8 addressed an issue with Equitrac and an issue with E7-95.
You could clone the machine and run SIM 67-17 and flush the print memory. This SIM will wipe SMTP settings, print port settings , and domain name so make sure you backup the data first.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

            Good shout faxman.

Can't find the bulletin on Sharps UK site. Can you post the bulletin on here?

the fw version is 0800,but there is new ver 0810 don't know if this is same in UK. The fw has a few fixes in it and there is one that says when printing pdf E7-95 errors have been corrected. Also don't know if you can just replace memory or hdd when a DSK is installed. I would think there would some type of protection against that.

HDD can be replaced, just has to be formatted and have DSK firmware installed with covers open.

                RAM can be replaced freely.

                ROM can not be replaced.
