    MX B201 Toner.

Is there a compatible or refill kit out there for these machines? The toner I'm sure is the same as many others. They are chipped though, I believe. Almost $50.00 is ridiculous. Anyone found a better solution?

Use refils/compatible ones you will end up spending more to keep the machine going, $50 is nothing.

Oh stop it, will ya. It's the same AL1000 crap for years. Just seeking the chip. $9.00 vs. $50.00 five times a year. You obviously work for someone.
Tell me you buy OEM drum units too? Where are you, in Aruba?

For my .02 cents, Mattl is correct; you will end up with more trouble than you'll save at the
beginning. You may have gotten away with the chip replacement with earlier models, but not now.

How would you end up with more trouble. This is the same stuff they've been using for 15 years. The compatibles are right on. Everything from SF 7900 to AL whatever is the same stuff. Be intuitive. We're stopped by a chip, not the supplies. If t ypu refill a sharp toner cartridge and never let it go to a low toner condition....it will run for years refilling it. We are not here to worship the manufacturer....ooops, maybe you are.

Generic drums are $9.00 toner about $5.00 DV $8.00 Don't let these OEM whores stop you from making money.

So, I guess that in another 10-15 years you'll be trying the same old supplies developed in the '90s? Yormets, the technology has changed, and for the better IMHO. How can you say it's the same toner as the SF7900-AL1000 - so much has changed. Like I said, you may get by with re-charged toner for awhile,
but you'll be seeing that machine over and over again.
Now, my opinion is up to .04.
