    How to get user 'meter' readings off Sharp 7040?

    Sorry to bother you all!

    Our reprographics technician is off at the moment but we need to take the monthly code readings for all the departments in the school.

    Can anyone please tell me how to do this? I'm wandering around the web interface with no idea what to do!!

      Login to the web page, user control and then user count providing you are using the inbuilt codes of the machine.

          You can print the user counts list under System Settings > User Control > Default Settings > Scroll to bottom and change the list print to No. of pages used. The page will display the username and pages used but not the user codes.

              Simply double tap the 'Home' button.

                  How do I clear them once I've printed them?

                      Sorry I totally missed the user part of your thread title.

                      Easy way to reset all of them is to goto:

                      User control
                      Save user count
                      Tick 'Save and Delete the Data'
                      Then select 'Save'

                      This wil download a csv file containing all copy counts and also deletes them.
                      csv file can be a good backup if you do this monthly.
