    [Error Code] Sharp Mx 5001 Ao-15?

    Just got a Sharp MX5001 with the error code Ao-15? not in the book have tried updating firmware, emergency flashing the firmware, formatted the hard drive, cleared the ram memory, turned off all security, any help would be appreciated!!

      On other models, A0-15 codes are "Incompatible DSK BOOT and program firmware" caused by "Installation of the normal firmware was performed with a security kit enabled".

      Does this copier have a Data Security Kit? If so, try updating with that firmware.

          Check the MFP board. You will get this error if PRG1 or PRG2 chips are knocked loose or, as mentioned above, DSK was installed or removed without the proper firmware.

              It does have the security chips, tried flashing them with the memory stick that comes with the kit no luck...
