    MX5500 odd issue

I ran across something strange today on an MX5500. I was working on a F2-65 problem and wanted to check that the toner motors were working properly. When I got it open and ran them in sim, the magenta motor would randomly run backward then forward sometimes. I'm guessing I have a pinched harness, but didn't have time to pull the machine out to check it today.

I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this and what problems it might have caused. The problem today was on cyan, so the magenta motor had nothing to do with it, but I just thought it was odd.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Gene, I don't have an available machine in the shop to test/verify right now if toner motors turn backwards at times.
I simi remember that Sharp in the past has turned (I think a DV drive) backwards to help clean out the doctor gap; maybe they are trying to loosen the toner.
