    sharp mx-4101n

When duplexing in colour only using DSPF bottom side comes out with greenish background.Cleaning optics made no difference.Thinking of replacing optic in dspf or boards, any suggestions would be appreciaded.

DSPF has the CCD under the glass and the CIS in the document feeder; calibrate both. If it only happens on the 2nd side, it's most likely the CIS inside the document feeder.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

I would say run a full calibration including the SIT chart. Both on the glass and through the DSPF before you start putting parts in.

I have had some success with the shading adjustment, Sim 63-2 for problems similar to this. It is adjustment 20-A in the manual. I am also attaching something I found for making your own adjustment sheet.
