A simple fix for me is set the exposure default to text. It will fill better.

Yes it set to mode one in not one particular machine i'm just saying in general because I had a few customers ask me to make text darker I was wondering if it was a way to do that without increasing exposer. I found that 10-1 helps outs

Sure, running the toner (add) motor will temporarily make it better, but you'll soon have lighter fill. There is something else going on, maybe the 25-2 was reading high when new DV was installed, or maybe the toner sensor was dirty when DV was added.
