    Job queue priority settings

Just thought I would share this solution.

We have a customer who sends many print jobs to an MX-M1054N that the customer needs to be printed in the exact order that the jobs are sent. The print jobs use various paper types and sizes.

When the copier runs out of a paper source for the current print job, it was jumping ahead to the next job in the queue that it had paper for and screwing up the order of the output. This is the default behavior.

To stop this behavior and force the copier to wait until the user refills the empty paper source, you need to place a checkmark in the box for Disabling of Bypass Printing, which is found in System Settings->Operation Settings.

It took two calls to Sharp support to get that setting. I had assumed that it was a setting to disable printing from the bypass tray. I guess this was one that got lost in translation.
