    sharp mx2700

    i am trying to get the part number for the drive gear on the large transfer belt .the one that fits on the pin that is through the drive roller.it has shattered and no longer drives the belt.

    Also, comes in one the the maintenance kits.
    You'll want to find out what caused the belt to drag down and caused the gear to split.

      thanks zootech. the edging off the belt had com off and wrapped itself around the drive gear .i got a belt kit and fitted it and the machine kept jamming so i had another look and found the gear broken.

      i did a terrible bodge job to keep them going by superglueing two pieces of plastic into the ribs so they picked up the pin but i dont think it will last.

        Pretty quick thinking on that fix. As long as there's no drag on the belt that fix should hold long enough for a proper replacement. I've found the belt frame can warp after so many rebuilds, not nearly as badly as the MX701U1 transfer belt however.
