Anyone know where I can get a hold of the Maintenance.exe and Current firmware (if any) for a Sharp MX-M232D?
My problem is with Scan-to-Email working about 25% of the time. For background, I also have s Sharp MX-M200D at the same site, configured the exact same way, and it works 100% of the time.
When testing the MX-M232D SMTP configuration on the Printer it will not communicate with the SMTP server correctly 75% of the time - The SMTPLOG on the server clearly shows it sending a QUIT command to the server after which the Printer web UI shows that the SMTP test failed. When it is working, you see both the HELO & QUIT commands in the SMTPLOG and the UI reports success.
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out why it is doing this. Sharp has been no help - they keep sending a technician who swaps out the network cable, restarts the printer, changes the IP of the device, etc. None of it makes a difference. I can only figure it is a bug in the controller firmware.
