    [Error Code] MX-C312 L4-16

Ran into this at the end of the day today, hoping someone can point me in right direction. Fusing pressure release trouble on a C312.

The fusing pressure release sensor is likely broken. It's not terribly difficult to replace but if you are close to EOL on the fuser I usually exchange the entire unit.

The broken sensor arm can be broken when the machine is not shut down properly, and then powered up.
A new strengthened sensor arm is available. The customer needs to learn that shutting the machine off improperly is like pulling the plug out of a PC to power down.

Agree with Zootech. Actuator is on top rear side if I remember correctly.

Been working on copy machines for 1 week now lol, learning a lot of stuff very quickly . since I first posted I've seen a bunch of similar fuser designs , I started off with the 653 and 753 models , the c312 is a poor design for sure why put everything so close to the fuser.. Rr. Thanks I'm def going to use this forum as much as possible . endless source of knowledge . PS I orders a new fuser unit :-)

This person constantly powers it off the wrong way ... I'll be sure to give a lesson.
