    MX-C300W Skewed scans

I have skewed scans. The prints from memory look fine.

I checked in the scan section and everything looks fine. Not that I like the design, just that I do not see anything that would cause the skew. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I did not see anything in bulletins and Sharp is suggesting a new optics section.

Has anyone seen this. I replaced the scanner unit and now it is doing the same thing. Prints are fine, copies are not. The sides of portrait are pretty straight but the top and bottom are skewed.

If prints are ok, then the new scanner unit might also be out of adjustment. Is the copier pretty level? And the paper is fed reduction mode not portrait, so the lead and trail edge are skewed, right?

Sorry, I replaced the scanner back in early November and it has just started to show the symptom 2 weeks ago. I am uploading a sample. I am not sure if you can see the edges but the top and bottom seemed to be skewed, but the sides, not so much. The DF gives the same results.

It was a straight copy. The print that this scan comes from was printed from this printer and was not skewed.

I am weary of this scanner because it seems to have a single rail in the middle and the drive belt is just off center. We have just a couple of these in the field and I believe this is the only one encountering this issue.
