    MX-5500N - PPD2_N1

I have a MX-5500 jamming with the lead edge stopping in the fuser rollers and throwing a PPD2_N1 jam. Some parts that I replaced may no sense, but that is because I thinking POD and not PPD.

I have tested PPD1 & 2 from TC 30-1 and they both worked. Tested PPD2 with multi meter from PCU AND I received 5v in ready state and .1mv when actuated.

Parts I have replaced are transfer belt motor, primary transfer unit, secondary transfer unit, right door(with another secondary transfer unit), PS unit PPD2 sensor and PCU PWB.

The motor for the primary belt appears to be moving, the motor for the pre-reg roller works, the clutch for PS should work since it gets to fuser.

I have cleaned the transport rollers and issue still occurs constantly. Can not pass paper.

The other post in the forum do not seem to fit my problem have looked into them. I feel like it is a logic problem because it says PPD2 is not reached, but it passes the reg roller.

    Replace PPD2 sensor.

I know it tested good, but if it is slow reacting you will get the jam code even though the paper moves past it.

I have tried a new sensor. The latest is that I think it has to do with the black drum motor. The blade is not flipped, but motor does not turn and I do not get the 24v from driver PWB.

Replaced the driver PWB a second time and solved issue. Not sure if both driver PWBs had same problem or if something in the machine blew it. I changed out to many parts. Again no 24V going to DM_K from Driver PWB. Heard of drum phase sensor causing similar issues.
