[Misc] MX-3640 / Image Send / Paper Size Not Detected

Brand new MX-3640 will not detect original paper size automatically when scanning in Image Send mode on glass only.

Copy mode detects paper size on glass and document feeder detects the paper size for all modes.

User can manually set the original size and perform all other functions just fine.

Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance.

Go to system settings/Device Control/original feeding mode.

Be sure the off button is checked for image send.

If mixed original is checked you have to tell the machine what size the original is on the glass.

Recently ran into the this with copy mode only, user codes were turned on.
