    [Jamming] MX-FN22 on Polaris

Hi All, we are having a jamming issue on an MX-FN22. The text below state the issue (roughly).

"The actuator arm on the guillotine was completely bent out of shape again and booklet trimmings where wrapped around the output rollers causing the F0-52 error "

When the guillotine trims the paper, it appears to go down too far, bends the plate the opens the chute for the trimmings, and sticks there. There does not seem to be a parts section for this, and a new trimmer looks to be the only option.

    Any ideas?

mx-tm10, parts and service available in U.S. I would contact Sharp in Ireland to see how it is handled there.

also no bulletins in U.S for tm10 and nothing on error F0-52,

You may have a faulty trimmer motor clock sensor. It stops the trimmer motor from passing its maximum cut point. You can check the sensor in simulation. because it's an option, make sure all of the installation guide is followed, check all harnesses and reseat everything. There's new special firmware for the FN22 main, stitch and trimmer as well; make sure that's what it's running and not the standard firmware.

Thanks guys. We'll have a look at that.
We have had to get a bracket fabricated to replace the bracket that the trimmer is hitting at each cut is done, as it seems this part is not available.
          I'll keep you posted.
