Pop up message upon start up. MX2600

    Afternoon fellow Techs.

I have a machine out in the field that displays this message upon start up every morning.

"Settings of machine is changed by web page. The change is reflected and the operation is reset."

Now I am aware of this message when changes are made via the web-page. But as to why this is happening daily, with no human contact has me baffled. It has a static IP. The client says it started happening after we dialled in via "TeamViewer". I uninstalled that yesterday , but today it has happened again.

I had a machine do it intermittently about 2 years ago although I don't recall what model it was.

It's not causing problems, I'm more curious than anything else.

    Any suggestions?

Weird, first thing I would do is shuffle around the IP, something is obviously trying to send information to the machine over the network, and the machine thinks it is being manipulated? (maybe)

That or it needs a good flush, firmware and flush the RAM ect. some thing could be causing it to cycle through that message over and over.
Don't see how TeamView would set it off like that.

Never seen that before in a Sharp, so I'm just speculating.

customer is running sharpdesk, when they boot their pc's in morning network scanner tool(sharpdesk) sends ip of pc to copier.

didn't see team viewer part, it looks like teamviewer is for pc's , do you use teamviewer to make changes remotely to the copier webpage ? I tested our machine(mx2610) and an actual change to the copier web page has to be done to get that message, just accessing the web page does not cause the message to show up. either the customer is using sharpdesk or similar app? you can run wireshark or similar app to see what is trying to access copier.

do a 67-17 printer clear/reset. copy address book and network settings and storage backup first.
