    MX 4112 with MX-FX11

Hi guys i have a MX4112 and i have tried to fit a fax kit to it (MX-FX11) and when the machine powers up within a few minutes it throws up a F6-00 error.

I have checked all connections , reseated all memory dimms , tried 3 different faxes , re-initialised it and and updated firmware.

Any other ideas before ordering new MFP board.

    Destination setting
    1) Enter the SIM26-6 mode.
    2) Check to confirm that the destination setting of the machine matches the specifications of the FAX destination. If not, the FAX may not function properly

After connection, perform the setting of “External telephone connection" of the system setting (administrator).

The new MFP boards have 2 plugs for fax kits as overseas models can support dual fax kits.
Make sure the option is plugged into FAX 1 on the MFP board.

Yep, just have to follow the install manual.
