    MX2616N PROBLEM

Could use some help on this one, I have a MX2616N that started offsetting the colors, especially the magenta, as my 61-4 and 64-5 show in the examples. When I run 50-22 I get a Data Sub_F_Head 32 error. Machine prints and copies OK in black. I changed, out the magenta drum, dv unit, main transfer and secondary belts, laser unit,
    reflashed firmware to 0700G2.
I reseated Sim, and IC on MFP board. Still get bad color prints and copies. My next thought is bad memory or mother board.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks Dan.

Try running TC 50-20 first, then 50-22.

TT-100314_1 , set 50-20 A to I to 100 then redo 50-22, TT-100314_2 new sim 61 codes for uneven color registration, doesn't list 2616n in bulletin but maybe with latest firmware is available ?

Thanks Zootech, you were right on, I had try to do 50-20 early on the call, but I only changed the magenta offset values to their defaults, and let the other magenta settings as they were. Now I set all the magenta values on 50-20 to default, then I could do 50-22 and get it to say OK by adjusting the screw. Next time I see this should I set all
the settings on 50-20 to their defaults? Or just the color that is giving errors and bad prints? Thanks for all the replys I got. Dan

It wouldn't hurt to set them all to defaults as the TT mentioned by faxman28, TC 50-22 will get you to the proper adjustments. As an aside, I try to get those values to '1' or below in 50-22.
