Re: Sharp ADC Utility
Have used it numerous times. Works great for converting AR address books to MX. You will have to elaborate a little more though. Is the software itself not working? The files not loading? Not converting properly? -
Re: Sharp ADC Utility
I don't really know what I'm trying to do. I have an MX6201 that I want to export the address book and an MXM550n that I want to import it to. The way I read the utility is the 6201 is the source address book reference and the target is what is created. ?????? Just don't get it. Step by step would help. When I thought I did it, it only created a 5k file with no extension and the 6201 file was 30k. When opened up in notepad file was all gibberish. Where as the original file is somewhat intelligible. Thanks for any helpComment

Re: Sharp ADC Utility
The process is simply:
-Export Address Book from MX-6201 (via webpage or at copier)
-Use ADC Utility to convert
-Source Address Book Model: MX-6201/7201 (Language: English)
-Reference: wherever you want to save it
-Target Address Book Model: MX-M350N/M450N/M550~700 [There is a "Serial" version, but I don't think that you want that version]
-Reference: where you want to save it
-Lastly, import the converted Address Book into the MX-M550N via webpage or at copier
My guess is that you may have used the "Serial" model version when you did the first conversion. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I would try the non-serial one.
Hope this helps.Comment
