MX2314 led display locked

Hi all, I visited a new 2314 today which had the led screen locked, not one of the buttons would work? Went into screen calibration but it wouldn't calibrate. Strangely when I pressed the plastic control panel (not the lid panel) the machine beeps as if I'm pressing the Lcd panel. Machine prints fine abut customer cannot scan or copy? I'm thinking faulty touch panel? Any thoughts? FirmWare is version 2 00G2

On these and 2614's we have had to replace a number of screens but we find often ones that are used quite a bit become unresponsive if large print volumes are put through them or if copies if the screen had been touched a lot over the day it gets more and more slower and less and less responsive. The only fix was to reboot and it was fine.

Try to avoid installing these machines unless small user base and go for a machine with a 10" screen.

I'm not sure if that model comes standard with a pullout keyboard, but those have been known to seize the UI. If it has one, unplug the ribbon cable or try replacing it.
