I have a MX4101 with saddlestich finisher. customer had a jam, now the copier says close center door and I cannot find the source or any documentation on this error. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I believe that is referring to the passthrough (RBX).

if it's an fn10 there is door above where the finished booklets come out, it is where the saddle stitch stapler is.

I have checked both of those areas. The message is actually "close center cover" if that makes a difference with no reference to finisher or anything else for that matter.

The lift plate on the finisher exit is up. Push it down by hand. Its the one that raises and lowers when paper exits the finisher. Took me a bit to figure that one out as well.

Check the sensor on the RBX3 - Section 33 item # 32. It looks like the sensor is PDCS. I believe that is the sensor that gave me the same exact issue. It is tough to see if you are not looking for it.
