Sharp MX 4100n displays "Automatically Adjusting"

I have this machine at a very fussy account and they are complaining that the machine gives this message and makes them wait 15 seconds or so most every time they use is from standby.
I can't find any references to this message in the Svc manual so any general guidance would be appreciated

Unfortunately that was one of the worst issues with that series, and it's predecessor.

I know they released a couple of firmware updates to help with the frequency of the adjusting. My suggestion would be to make sure the firmware is current.

You can adjust when process control kicks in with SIM 44-28.
