MX-2600N RADF rollers start turning while mach. in idle state ???

Have wierd problem with a 2600N, machine will just be sitting idle and not in use whatsoever .
Customer states that RADF rollers will intermittently just start running like its trying to pick up originals, no paper present, no jobs sent to it, not trying to use machine at all, just RADF runs for no reason by itself...
They pwr off/on, maybe good for a day, then starts this again, what should I look for to fix this ??? Thanks

Doc feeder is activated by the original detect sensor, it tells the machine to use the doc feeder instead of the platen glass. Could also be the SCU pwb.
Check job and error logs to see if jobs or jams are actually being registered. If they show nothing, most likely a short.

hi check the open close switch of the doc-feeder
and adjust as needed
