Maybe I'm looking at the manual wrong but the toner lock sensor (TLS) is located in the transfer belt area according to the diagram on page 4-9 of the SM. You might be looking in the wrong area around the drum. Haven't had this problem so would be interesting to know if that's correct or not.

    Good luck.

        Sensor TNFS

I'd use sim 10-2 with toner cartage in or sim 30-1 to start. (Manual pgs 6-15 and 6-29)

You've done everything the manual has said to do and so I'd personally change the PCU PWB as a last resort.

Update It was found that the white spring loaded coupling on the hopper was stuck and by some fluke it was stuck on 2 different hoppers therefore fooling us when we switched hoppers.Problem solved.

              Good morning,
sorry to bring up this message in 2023, but it's to thank dwarf for coming back to give his solution.
This MFP is old and I have one left that is resistant to replacement.
I got the code F2-68 and naturally ordered cell RDTCT02227FCZZ... for nothing.
It was the spring that was not powerful enough to push the "pinion" at the front of the hopper which controls the mixing of the used ink from the toner cartridge.
The pinion was stuck on the axle.

              Fairly simple to repair.

              Thanks again.
