Need a board repaired

I have a Sharp AL 1655 cs that gives a continuous "Down Load Mode" error code on the control panel screen. I was informed that I need to either have the board replaced or have the MCU board repaired,After going through numerous rags and surfing on the net, I found "zilch",Nada! any help would be greatly appreciated,Steve
