    MX5140 LCT

    Hi Guys wonder if anyone can help me, i have fitter a lc-11 lct to a mx5140 and when you try to select the tray on screen it just says tray 3 is ready to open...

    I have had this a couple of times in the past but for the life of me i cant remember the cause.

      Did you update the firmware with the LCC attached?

          yeah did that as soon as it was fitted.

              If I remember correctly, this message shows up when the LCC is out of paper. Test your sensors and lift motor with sim 4. Hope this helps.

                  Check to see if the rear of the LCT is locked in. I ran into this during setup with LCT's. A hard bump along the side of the LCT at the rear frame can knock in place.
