    Sharp MX4101 with H2 05 error

Have this code H2 05 error, I know its the fuser unit but would appreciate someone telling me the common causes. Fuser rollers are clean and in good condition, the code will not reset, it keeps coming back

TH_EX2 thermo coupler needs to be rest or replaced , but from my experience it will pop again even if it resets. So replace it.

I have a serious challenge with my Sharp MX4101N photocopier. It's displayed the code H2-05. several attempts has been made to delete the code to no avail. Repairs, replacement of the power board, the scanner board, the thermister unit but the code is still coming up, what do I do?

This series is good for that error. I would recommend replacing the fuser unit with a new one. Usually the fuser is at or above its PM counter anyway, and ready for rebuild or replacement. It typically is cheaper to replace on this model.

Check for a cracked fuser lamp. That is 3 generations old and the lamp lead get very brittle over 10 years or so.

Additionally, the items you listed as replaced are not even remotely related to your issue. I would strongly suggest you call a qualified professional.

the common causes for this are usually

dirty heat belt from client not running heavy color on the right paper/setting
            worn heat belt
paper stuck behind belt blocking thermistor or thermostat reading

I recommend replacing the fuser. We do not even work on these fusers beyond maybe a web kit due to them being complete trash and usually needing more parts then they cost new to repair when torn down.
