    [Misc] MX-7040N

    Having weird issue when scanning to email. Intermittently has a pink backround.
    Tried MFP Control Board with new Dimm, slot1.
    Tried Mother Board SCN.
    Reformatted HDD.
    These were all Sharp Hotline Recommendations to no prevail.

    Looks to be your CCD needs to be calibrated with the SIT chart. See adjustment 9A in your manual.

    I suppose while you're at it, it wouldn't hurt to run the shading sheet white reference setup in section 20.

    If you don't have the SIT chart and shading sheet, you should replace the CCD; and then get the SIT chart and shading sheet.

      WE tried calibrating CCD, Happens on glass and Document feeder. Sharp rep here today, hoping they find something. Will repost when fixed. Thank you.

        You say you calibrated it, but with what? Was it the actual SIT chart?
