Re: MXM850
I will get this one every once in awhile. Clean the paper feed reflective sensors they will collect dust since they are all situated face up. You probably have also noticed that the reversing unit rollers are very slick and dry. So I clean these up as well. This has always been a random code for us but these steps seem to work well in taking care of this issue.
Good luck.

Re: MXM850
Thanks for the input! I found the cause. The paper exit driver pwb was bad. No motor drive on the ADU reverse motor. It was driving forward into duplex unit but no reverse.Comment

Re: MXM850
While you're in there, make sure your torque limiter in the fuser drive is the latest edition. Part must be PCLC-0359FCZ1, not FCZZ.
Confirm via production lot number printed on the casing. The 4 digits on the casing represent year, month & day.
According to the part update, the 4 digit code must be 9C01 or later (2009 production year, C = December)
You may have already found your problem but this can cause a very similar situation; better to take care of it before it actually becomes a problem.Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?Comment
