    MX453 w/ FN9

    This machine is showing a repeated jam code of FPDD_S

    Only reference I can find to FPDD is Paper Punch collect full. This machine does not have punch unit?????

    What am I missing????

      I am having the same issue. I have updated firmware and replaced the finisher control pwb. This copier does not have a punch unit on it so it is very confusing. After my MXM363 jams it then tells me to remove paper from staple compiler when none is present. I am fortunate enough to have another finisher that I am swapping it out with for in house testing. I will keep you posted with my findings.

          FPDD_S is bundle exit jam. Check sensors / and wiring for them.

              FPDD_S Bundle exit remaining JAM, Starting the bundle exit operation FSTPD (compiler/bundle area , paper empty sensor) sensor does not turn OFF within the specified time.

              sensor flag (sticking)or sensor could be flaky.
