[Jamming] MX-7001N jamming when duplexing PPD2_NA

Greetings, we are a Lanier dealer who sold Sharps for a few years and we no longer work with them so they cut us off from documentation and tech support, so I'm reacing out for anyones help.

We have an MX-7001N color copier that has 1,400,000 K and 156,000 C on it and it is having duplex jams.

The code is PPD2_NA. Paper never makes it to the registration sensor, and when it jams, there are usually about 2 or 3 sheets in the unit.

We havent able to get it to jam if running 1 duplex page, but when multiples are ran, it will usually jam anywhere between 2-10 sheets into the job.

We have replaced the two stepper motors in the duplex unit, all roller shafts, both sensors and flags in the duplex unit path. I also replaced a clutch in the drive- but I think that was the bypass drive clutch. The clear plastic guide leading to the reg sensor has also been replaced.

Anyhow, the unit runs single sided pages without issue, but jams on duplex.

The jam happens from all trays including the LCT.

Has anyone ran across this or is there anyone who can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks for any help.

Check the duplex transport rollers. We had the lower roller wear down causing a speed issue. It was very noticeable when running 8 1/2x14. It would make a pop noise.

All transport rollers in the duplex unit itself have been replaced. The only one that hasn't been replaced is the one inside the main frame that feeds the paper to the registration roller. But that one seems to be part of the normal feed for the LCT as well.
