Sharp ARM355

Hi All I'm working on a arm355 that won't let me print from the LCC. The machine say's "selected paper tray is prohibited please select another tray." I found the sensor board that reads the left side paper of the LCC was broken. I repaired the board and reinstalled it, after installing the board I ran SIM 14 and 15. Problem is still happening. If anyone could give me some help it would be appreciated.

Look at paper tray setting at LCC u will find that print function in not marked

Would the print function affect the Copy mode cause it won't allow me to select the LCC.

something obvious. but are tray settings set to plain or something like letterhead?

The trays are set to Letter size and Plain paper.

I have reset Sim 15, 14, and 17 with no change.

Just to be clear, you have gone into Custom Settings->Paper Tray Settings->Tray Settings and then scrolled to the LCC and made certain that both Print and Copy have checkmarks in their boxes?

Do you have a known good board for the one that you repaired to swap in and see if it works? It could possibly isolate the problem to the repaired board or it can rule it out.

Thank you everyone I found a poor connection on the board that i fixed. Then did the printer and copier tray settings. Thank you again.
