MX5111 not fusing across entire page.

Client has a MX5111 which has just recently had the fuser rebuilt due to damn fuser belt "meandering" problem.

It was working fine for nearly a month until today. When it prints a page, the image is not fusing along the entire page.

The problem areas are about an inch wide and half an inch in from each edge. It is printing A4 standard orientation (not A4R).

I will be returning tomorrow but as I don't have a spare machine to test parts, or any heat lamps etc. I thought I would just see if anyone else has encountered this type of problem.

    Thanks Guys.

I had a similar problem. I think there is a bulletin for that adjusting temperatures. It didn't seem to make any difference and then after I reset the temp's everything seemed to start working OK

Set the machine to 23 to 28lbs paper setting under device control.

I had the pressure spring on one side break one time causing that type problem.

As above check pressure springs, they break and can cause this.

a bit of a late reply to old thread but I have had one of the thermostats pop on the fusing belt unit cause this. It doesn't throw up an error code either. resetting the thermostat normally works but it may have to be replaced if necessary
