MX-B401 Memory Fail - Memory No Response Memory full

Long history of this machine having memory full issue - seems to be happening when receiving faxes, but now customer cannot send faxes - seems to be intermittent - have tried changing soft switches, customer is using a VOIP line - I'm going to try a firmware update today, but feel it is something else...any suggestions?

Is the MM9 showing in TC 22-10? Try clearing Image Memory with TC 66-10. Put a filter on the fax line when connecting with VOIP.
There are posts about slowing down speed and turning off ECM, which may help or not - best solution is a true land line.
