Sharp MX-3501 shaows jam in bridge tray

I have a MX-3501 that is showing a paper jam in the middle tray ( tray between exit and the finisher ). I changed out both of the sensors on the back of the tray. When I turn on the machine without the tray in the machine it asks for paper removal from finisher stapler area. When I removed the finisher It goes back to asking for paper removal from the middle tray.

Yes , that is what is was. thanks. flag was missing . so I taped flag stub in up position, and it worked . Is the flag needed with a finisher .

for the big side floor finisher yes, I think it need the extra weight to hold it in the down position. You can still order them from sharp, I believe it is in the parts list for the finisher. You do not need it for a belly finisher.
