Anyone competing in the Master Tech 2008 program?

Half of our techs took Phase 2 tests on Monday, and the others will take them on Thursday. Pretty easy tests (IMHO) if you had no problem with the bronze, silver and gold tests. I understand results for the 18 techs going to Florida will be announced on the 11th of Aug.

Yup they told us Monday also. The test was pretty easy, but of course it had the "answerless" questions that most vender tests do.....

Not getting my hopes up, but we'll see what Monday brings. Wife is torn on wether she wants me to go to phase 3 or not, since we have tickets already purchassed (non refundable) to Vegas, Sept 16-20.

We had four take test and nobody going to Florida. Two of us made the top 150 (Blue Ray player). From what I was told nobody from our RSS (PA) are made the trip.

Might be a good thing I didn't make it, 'cause I'm flying to Las Vegas Friday and would have lost my plane tickets for that trip!!!

sup' all Master tech was a very well planned and executed event my GF and I had a great time.

How's it going Zootech? I forgot to ask If you were taking the train back to SD. You might not even be home yet lol.

Ayways Im new to the boards (Zootech pointed the way for me) but glad to be here. Will be nice to not have my posts censored by the Manufacturer.

Not that I have a lot of bad things to say about Sharp.

Hey Skookum, did take the train back (4 days), but it was a great time. Were you at the formal dinner table with me? Sharp set us all up with a good 4 days of fun, hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as my wife and I did. Congratulations to all

Shared a table at the Attic gathering.

So.... now we just sit around and wait for our TVs, lol. Last week was rough due to lack of sleep and jet lag. Oh yea, and having to work all 5 days. Have to it is nice to be back in 68 degree weather. I was dying a slow death in Florida, snowman style.
