[Misc] mx 2610 leaving blue streaks on top of copies

This seems to be a small problem. Taking over from another company who has been throwing numerous parts at it.

Last tech recommends replacing the fuser. Its always the same problem of blue. I am going out today to get a list of what has been done.

It seems like it be as simple as a bad cartridge from Sharp. Any know of a problem like this?

I'll be back tonight with a list of what has been done. Not a Sharp guy so any help with listings to do calibrations would be very helpful.

Ill post a pic of problem also.

    Thanks this place rocks

I have seen faint blue lines caused by optics. Process unit would be a possibility, but you definitely would want to look first.

Streaking from the fuser unit would not be just blue. If that was the case, I would imagine that they do not select the right paper type and it is not fusing toner properly.

Well it seems like as always I didn't get the whole story. Turns out it is a bad fuser. Thank you for your time.
I'm new here and not sure on how to use this system to its full potential, but i'll work on it.
Seems to be plenty of good people here. Hope to be of some help.

There are plenty of good techs that will give you the right answer or lead you in the right direction. They are more responsive if they have machine details, problem description, including jam codes or errors if available and what have you done so far.

Good luck repairing the Sharp. I know it is a hassle when you are not familiar with a certain brand of copier.
