    Sharp MX4112N

Hi if anyone could kindly help me out, i know how to enter the Sim mode on Sharps with keys, but how do you enter Sim mode when it has a touch screen, ( i want to reset the admin password)

and also i want to erase all the user data, i've seen on the net it has a 'Initialize private data/ data in the machine' option in settings\security but it says on the net that once this is done the machine becomes locked and you need to contact a dealer to continue to use the machine' is this true and if so why ?

    thanks

    Joe

Press the physical home button twice, in quick succession, press the version number (it is a hidden button) on the new dialog, then enter the usual code to enter the simulation mode.

To reset the admin pass follow: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/sh...tml#post361817

Just log into the webpage, login with the admin login, and go through address book, user control, and network settings, to get rid of most of the old settings.

No, it will not look the mfp. Its like factory reset only it deletes all user data. And it will NOT remove any product keys or anything like that.
Im doing this to mfp like 1-2 times a week
