    Color Calibration not holding on MX-4101N

    I have a customer with an MX-4101N that has had several of the same color calibration performed on it. I simply go into system settings, log in as admin, go under the printer settings, then perform the color calibration involving printing out a scan target on an 11x17" sheet of paper. Each time the color calibration is successful and the colors are then printing correctly. Then a day or two later it reverts back to printing incorrectly. Every time the color calibration works, but it's only temporary.

    My question is how do I get this calibration to stick? Why is it reverting back?

    There are several steps that have to be done to calibrate this machine. You are doing the key-op calibration not the service calibration. To do service calibration you will need the service manual and test charts.
