    [Misc] Sharp MX 7001N "Ghosting"

    Hello

I am servicing a Sharp MX 7001N and I replaced the fuser unit do to the fact it had crinkles on the rollers. Now when I make color prints or copies it seem to what to duplicate color images and logos right next to the original position of the image on the paper I call it "ghosting" also the color prints are not looking like the PDF it prints from... Copies come out fine this only happens on print mode.... What might i do what type of adjustment or Simm might I do to fix this problem...

    Thank You

Might sound like a dumb question but did you set the fuser levers down?

As harleyrider mentioned check the leavers.

If the leavers are in down position then fuser temp is low for the print jobs.

First go to sim 43-1 and check the values with the sm. item A should be 200. someone might have reduced it. if not

try increasing the fuser temp by 3-5 degrees in sim 43-1 items A to L for plain paper. if it works add the same amount in sim 43-4 for duplex printing in items A-J for plain paper.
