Hello all, and thank you in advanced helping me out.
I have a Toshiba estudio 456 network printer. We have had this printer for about a year. As of a few days ago the hard drive crashed and lost all settings. I am able to get everything setup except the SMTP client. I have tried using a office365 email, google email, yahoo email with no luck. I have googled the smtp server settings for each provider and I am still getting error message "Failed to connect to SMTP server" The only account that doesn't give me this error message is the yahoo email. With Yahoo however I am now getting error "Failed SMTP authentication". So I changed the authentication settings from "Login" to "AUTO" and the yahoo port to 587. What is odd about this is I copied the settings before the hard drive crashed, and am using the same settings from before the hard drive chased, and now they don't work. I want to know can I bypass SMTP and just use POP? I have looked up and down the whole TOP Access admin list to see if there is a setting I am missing. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank You!!
