There are two methods to get into 08 mode. You can either power up while holding down the 0 and 8 keys and then wait for the setting screen to appear. This could take several minutes. The other method which is faster is press the user function key, press and hold the # key for about a second then key in 1048 and then press the # key again for a second. If you did it right you will see network initializing on the bottom of the screen. Moments later the service screen will appear.
Select 08 input. Select classic at the top of the screen. Input 9132. 0 is the default for copy. 1 is fax 2 is scan etc. The second method works with all EBX machines.
